The Howard University Alumni Club of Colorado and the Denver Metro Hampton University Alumni Association are coming together for the Battle of the Real HU Watch Party!

Join Bison, Pirates, HBCU alumni, friends, and football fans from across the Denver community as Howard University and Hampton University face off in one of HBCU football’s most storied rivalries.

We’re bringing the HBCU game-day energy to Denver with school pride, friendly rivalry, good food and drinks, and plenty of bragging rights on the line. Rep your school, wear your colors, and come ready to cheer on your HU!

All HBCU alumni and friends are welcome! You don’t have to be a Bison or Pirate to pull up and enjoy the rivalry.
Admission is completely free and guests will have the optional opportunity to make a donation in support of the alumni clubs.

Do I have to be an HBCU student or alum to attend?

No! All are welcome. While this event is hosted by HBCU alumni, you do not have to be an HBCU alum or student to attend. HBCU alumni, family, friends, supporters, and football fans are all invited to join us!

Is this event free?

Yes! Admission is completely FREE with RSVP. You will be responsible for any food or drinks purchased at the venue. Donations are optional and help support future HBCU alumni events for both clubs.

Is this event 21+?

Yes. This event is for guests ages 21 and older. Please bring a valid photo ID.

What time does the game start?

Kickoff is at 1:00 PM MT. The watch party begins at 12:00 PM, so come early, grab a spot, and connect with fellow alumni before kickoff.

What should I wear?

Rep your HU! Howard and Hampton alumni are encouraged to wear their school colors and gear. Alumni of other HBCUs or institutions, we want to see your school pride too!
